Russian Crash Course offers 3 options for the young students.

1. We have evening classes in Denver, 4:30pm-5:30pm on Mondays 

2.We also have a group in Centennial. Classes are every Thursday 4:30pm-5:30pm. Click here for more details. 

3. Russian Crash Course works with homeschooled kids in the morning. Click here to choose your location and time and we can find a group in your area. We have the best hands-on learning Russian classes in Denver! This spy-themed course keeps teenagers motivated and engaged. Who doesn't want to be a secret agent? Students learn Russian through games, puzzles, and improv.

This Program is a part of the Russian Crash Course. It means you get results fast.  The course covers the most popular topics such as food, places, family, professions, and much more.

HOW WE TEACH

GAMES | We use familiar American games, puzzles and improv to reinforced learning material. It involves a lot of hands-on learning and repetition.

FUN | The program has quite a bit of humor and a lot of cultural references which will help you to better remember the material as well as understand Russian culture.

RUSSIANS | Every 5th class we have a Game Night with special guests from the local Russian community. It helps students get a feel of the language structure and build up confidence.

CONNECTIONS | There are around 150,000 Russian speakers in the Denver area. Our goal is to teach you basic Russian skills which can help you make friends with local speakers.

COMMUNITY | We have a growing community of Russian Crash Course participants. It is not uncommon for groups to have extracurricular events. Of course these are completely optional, but they are also a lot of fun.

PROGRAM OUTLINE

Part 1: Introduction

This part covers the essentials of the Russian Language. This part can be taken separately or as the first step of the Russian Crash Course. 

Game Night: Board Games & Russian Restaurant Challenge

 

Part 2: Reading & Writing

This part is focused of familiarizing  yourself with the Cyrillic alphabet. During Part 2 students will learn over 100 basic nouns and will also be able to read and write in Russian. 

Game Night: Fun Words Game & Undercover Store Clerk Improv

Part 3: Adjectives

This part introduces genders of nouns and adjectives. You will learn over 50 of the most common adjectives and the ways they are used. You will also learn how to structure Russian sentences.  

Game Night: 20 Questions Game & Cards Agains Humanity

 

Part 4: Verbs 

In Part 4 we learn about basic verbs and their uses. This part covers imperative mood and past tense. 

Game Night: Murder Mystery Games

 

Part 5: Critical Thinking

Participants analyze information, share opinions and use critical thinking.  

Game Night: Escape Room Challenge.

 

Part 6: Critical Thinking 2

This part summarizes the learned material. Participants analyze information, share opinions and use critical thinking.

CLASSES | The program has 6 parts: 100, 101, 102, 103, 104 & 105. The price for each part is $299. Each part consist of 7 weeks.  Each class is 90-minutes of interactive learning and games. 

ADDRESS | 925 S Niagara St Suite 410E, Denver, CO 80224 We acre located on the 4th floor of Monaco Tower. Our classes are hosted in 500 sq ft. space. 

LOCATIONS

DENVER | Russian Crash Course has the main office in Denver, Colorado. It is located at 925 S Niagara St Suite 500, Denver, CO 80224. We host classes for teenagers and adults of different levels. The classes are hosted on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights.    

BOULDER | Russian Crash Course is in Boulder on Sundays. This fall we have 7-week beginner program. We also host classes for advance speakers which include trivia games, Russian poetry and improv. 

COLORADO SPRINGS | Russian Crash Course has intermediate and beginner groups in Colorado Springs. Instructor comes from Denver every Saturday. To register for the class email: russiancrashcourse@gmail.com
